Which area does pro prep solutions serve?
We primarily serve the Greater Austin area, but can travel outside this region for contracted projects. Service Areas in Texas: Austin, Hutto, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Marble Falls, Leander, Jarrell, and Greater Austin Area.
Can you install hardware on doors purchased from another manufacturer?
Absolutely. Whether your doors come from a glass company, contractor, or manufacturer, we can perform all necessary hardware prep and installation on-site or in-shop to ensure proper fit and function.
What types of commercial doors do you work on?
We service aluminum storefront doors, glass doors, hollow-metal doors, wood commercial doors, and custom entry systems. Our technicians also install and repair panic devices, closers, hinges, locks, pivots, thresholds, and ADA-compliant hardware.
Do you offer free estimates or on-site evaluations?
Our minimum service charge covers the first hour of labor while we’re on site, as long as the issue can be repaired during that visit. We’re always happy to provide a general consultation over the phone. If your project requires detailed measurements or advanced troubleshooting, we also offer on-site evaluations to make sure everything is planned correctly from the start.
Our Policies
Lead Time & Scheduling Policy
Project scheduling is based on material availability and existing workloads.
Estimated lead times are provided at the time of quote but may vary due to manufacturer backorders.
Customers will be notified of any changes in estimated delivery/installation dates.
Jobsite must be ready and accessible on the scheduled installation date.
Delivery & Installation Policy
All deliveries are curbside unless otherwise arranged.
Customer is responsible for verifying that door/hardware quantities and specifications are correct at delivery.
Installers require a safe, obstruction-free work area.
Any additional work outside the original scope may incur added charges (frame repairs, drywall issues, existing hardware removal, etc.).
Warranty Policy
Standard workmanship warranty: 1 year from installation date.
Manufacturer warranties apply to hardware, locks, closers, hinges, etc.
Warranty void if products are abused, modified, or not properly maintained.
Door adjustments due to building movement, seasonal shifts, or user damage are billable.
Return & Exchange Policy
Stock items may be returned within 30 days (unused and in original packaging).
Special-order items, custom doors, and electronic hardware are non-returnable.
Returns may be subject to restocking fees (typically 25–35%).
Refunds issued after inspection and approval of returned items.
Quote & Change Order Policy
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Any additional work requested after the quote is approved requires a signed change order.
Pricing may change if materials or labor costs increase prior to approval.
Jobsite Requirements & Safety Policy
Customer must ensure jobsite meets OSHA safety standards.
Installers reserve the right to stop work if unsafe conditions exist.
Customer responsible for securing the site after installation hours.
Any required permits are the responsibility of the property owner unless arranged otherwise.
Privacy & Data Policy
Customer information is used only for estimating, billing, and project communication.
No customer data is sold or shared with third parties.
Payment information is encrypted and not stored internally.
Cancellation Policy
Orders canceled before materials are purchased may receive a full refund.
Once materials are ordered, deposits are non-refundable.
Installation cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
Emergency Service Policy (if applicable)
After-hours or emergency service calls may have additional fees.
